CNY Gym Centre Policies & Procedures


Academic Session: September 2018-June 2019

Summer Session: July 2019-August 2019


You may enroll at anytime during the month. Tuition will be pro-rated for that month if necessary. Class tuition must be paid in full prior to starting a session. You can register by mail, by phone or in person. Registration requires:

  • Completed registration form with signatures for Acknowledgement of Waiver and Release, Photo Permission and Acknowledgement of Policies and Procedures.
  • Registration/Insurance fee and full tuition payment to CNY Gym Centre.


A non-refundable $40 annual insurance/membership fee per student or $100 per family is due for each participant upon registering. Registration fees are renewed on September 1st for all enrolled participants.


Class tuition payments are due in full at the time of registration. Your child’s place in class will not be held or guaranteed prior to payment in full. Cash, check or credit card payments are accepted. Payment must be received in the office by the first class of each month. Checks should be made out to CNY Gym Centre. Please include your child’s name and class day and time on the memo line of the check. Tuition for the Academic Session is based on a total of 40 classes from September-June. Some months have less than 4 weeks & some have more, however, over the course of the academic session there are 40 classes.


Tuition pays for your child's spot in class regardless of attendance. If you are unsatisfied for any reason, notify us in writing within 3 business days of your child’s first class, and we will fully refund your fees. Refunds are only given within three days of your child's first class. Refunds or Credits will not be given at any other time.


All students are automatically enrolled each month until the session end. You may withdraw and re-enroll at any time throughout the year. Enrollment in the summer session is not automatic and requires you to re- enroll. If you need to take a break for any reason, we need a 2 week written notice to discontinue charges on your account.


If your child has not attended class (takes time off or has not been checked in) for 2 consecutive weeks, he/she will be removed from the class. If/when your child returns, you may need to find another class day/time. To ensure your child’s spot in class, please check in at the front desk at every class.


Sibling discounts of $5 per each additional child are applied monthly.


A $10 Late fee will be imposed on all payments received after the 10th of the month.


A $30 fee will be charged for each check returned for insufficient funds.


We offer a free trial class to anyone who is interested in one of our programs. It is absolutely free, no obligations. Trial classes are based on an available spot in class and coach availability. Trial classes are not applicable to students who have attended classes currently or previously.


Parents are welcome to observe classes at any and all times provided that they remain in the designated observation areas. For safety purposes parents are not permitted to stand or sit in the training area during their child’s class. Observers can be a distraction at times, and therefore present a safety concern. We thank you in advance for your understanding and your cooperation.


Leotards are recommended for girls but are not required. If tights are worn we ask that they be footless to avoid slipping. Spandex shorts or leggings are okay to wear over leotards. Shorts and non-baggy T-shirts are recommended for boys. NO zippers, buttons or snaps are allowed on any clothing. Bare feet are also recommended because socks can cause a child to slip and fall. All jewelry must be removed prior to class and hair must be pulled back out of the child’s face.


Shopping Town: Make ups can be scheduled during Friday classes on a first come first serve basis. Make ups must be made after a class is missed and must be scheduled at the front desk ahead of time. Walk ins are not allowed. Tuition will not be prorated for missed classes. Make ups must be taken while a child is enrolled. Once a child withdraws from the program, all make-ups are forfeited.

Great Northern: As of September 2018 there will no longer be make up classes on the last Friday of the month. All make ups can be done in one of the regular classes if there is space available. You MUST call in advance to schedule makeups and if there is space in your preferred day and time we will accommodate your makeup. Makeups must be taken after a missed class. Tuition will not be prorated for missed classes. Make-ups must be taken while a child is enrolled. Once a child withdraws from the program, all make-ups are forfeited.


Inclement weather cancellations are NOT based on school closures. Notifications of gym closure due to weather will be announced on the local news stations and on our Facebook page. There will be no refunds or make ups for classes missed due to inclement weather or holiday closings.


In June we host a parent show for all gymnasts enrolled in our program. It’s an opportunity for the kids to showcase their gymnastics to their family and friends. The parent show takes the place of class that week, therefore there WILL NOT BE CLASSES held the week of the parent show.
